July 2009, Maidstone, UK. Futronics were in great company at the recent ACPO APA exhibition when they had a visit on the stand from Police Minister David Hanson along with Hugh Orde, President of ACPO. The exhibition held at Manchester Central (formerly GMex) played host to a large number of Chief Police officers, and indeed many other police personnel from across the UK.  The Futronics team were busy thoughout the event demonstrating their latest in-vehicle mobile data solution, which includes a new, even more high powered PC the eMC2/4.  Visitors also got a 'sneak peek' at the new OLED eTS touch screen which is soon to come to market.

Visitors to the stand were impressed with the vast capabilities of the system, many of them saying 'I want one of those'.  Futronics Managing Director, Anthony Parfitt stated 'This years ACPO has been busy for us, it has enabled us to make good contact with both existing and potential customers which has been very important. Forces have been blown away by the system, especially our new PC and touch screen. By getting into one of our fully equipped vehicles they are able to see first hand the potential value that using this system can bring to their force'.

Futronics are offering trials of their in-vehicle mobile data solution to UK Police forces and other blue light operations.  To find out more information telephone 01732 783 130 or email info(at)futronics.net
